Unrecognized Charge?

Seeing a charge you don’t recognize can be confusing, but don’t worry—we’re here to help you get to the bottom of it. Most of the time, there’s a simple explanation, and we’ll help you find it so you can get back to your day with confidence.

Step 1: Check Your Parking History

The best place to start is right inside your EasyPark app.

  • Open the "History" section: Does the session show up there? If it does, you can see the exact date, time, and location.

  • Check your Plan: If you don't see a specific session, the charge might be a monthly subscription fee. You can verify this by going to "Menu" > "Subscriptions" to see your current pricing plan.

Step 2: Could it be an Automatic Camera Charge?

In many areas, cameras start and end your parking session automatically. If the charge came from a camera-managed zone, consider these possibilities:

  • An old vehicle: Is the charge linked to a car you no longer own? If the new owner hasn't updated their details, your account might still be linked. It’s always a good idea to remove old license plates from your profile.

  • A "drive-through" error: Occasionally, a camera might capture your plate if you drive through a parking area without actually stopping.

  • Someone else using the car: Did a friend or family member borrow your vehicle? If automatic camera parking is enabled, the session starts the moment they enter the zone.

Step 3: How was the session started?

Understanding how the charge began helps us solve the mystery:

  • Manual: You started it yourself via the app or SMS.

  • Automatic: A camera identified your plate at the entrance and exit of a parking garage or lot.
