1. The session wasn't started
Did you remember to start your session in the EasyPark app? Unless you have a specific physical permit, an active digital session is required for the duration of your stay.
2. Incorrect Area Code
Parking zones can change from one block to the next. Double-check that the area code you entered in the app matches the code displayed on the street signs nearest to your car.
3. Wrong License Plate
The parking warden checks your plate against our system. If the license plate selected in the app has a typo or belongs to a different vehicle in your account, the system won't show you as paid.
4. Reserved Spaces
Even with an active payment, you might receive a fine if you park in a restricted spot—such as those reserved for residents, disabled permit holders, or specific vehicle types (like electric vehicle charging bays).
Next Steps
If you have checked your app history and are still unsure why you were fined, we recommend contacting the company or authority that issued the ticket directly.
Look at the ticket: It will contain the contact details of the issuer.
Provide proof: If you had a valid session, you can download your receipt from the "History" section of the EasyPark app to use as evidence for your appeal.
