I started parking with the wrong car—what now?

If you’ve accidentally selected the wrong license plate, follow these two steps immediately:

1. Stop the current session: End the active session for the incorrect vehicle right away.

2. Start a new session: Immediately start a new session using the correct license plate.

Please note: Once a parking session has started, the license plate associated with that session cannot be changed. This is to ensure all parking records remain accurate for the local authorities.

Why is this important?

• Avoid Fines: Parking wardens verify your payment by scanning your license plate. If the plate registered in the app doesn't match the vehicle in the spot, the system will show you as "unpaid," which could lead to a fine.

• Appealing a Fine: If you do receive a ticket because of a wrong plate, you have the right to appeal. You will need to contact the specific parking operator or authority that issued the fine directly to explain the error.
