How to cancel a fine

You may have the possibility to cancel the parking fine. Please note the following conditions:

  • The fine has to be "cancellable": it will be clearly states that the fine can be cancelled, and the exact amount to pay for it.

  • It's only cancellable during the timeframe specified on the ticket (usually 1 hour from the issuance). Once this time has passed, unfortunately, the fine cannot be cancelled and will no longer appear in the app. You’ll need to wait for it to arrive by mail.

  • If the city in which the fine was issued is not listed on our menu (when cancelling the fine) is because sadly, we still do not offer this service in that city (this is not a decision of us).

How to cancel a penalty notice in EasyPark

Follow these steps:

  1. Open the EasyPark app > “Menu” > “Payments and Penalties” > “Cancel or check penalties.”

  2. The app will redirect you to the website (it may take a few moments to load).

  3. Select the municipality where the penalty occurred. If it’s not listed, it means the penalty cancellation feature is not available in EasyPark for that area. You will need to pay through the parking meter or as specified on the penalty ticket.

  4. Enter the requested information: the vehicle’s license plate number or the penalty ticket number.

  5. Canceling the penalty through the app incurs a service fee. This fee will be shown in the price breakdown when making the request.

How to verify that the penalty has been cancelled correctly

To check if the penalty has been successfully canceled, follow these steps:

  1. Open the EasyPark app > “Menu” > “Payments and Penalties” > “Cancel or check penalties” (in pink).

  2. Click on “View canceled penalties.
