Checklist for Penalty Notices

If you believe a fine was issued in error, please verify the following details in your app history:

  • Parking Times: Check the exact start and end times of your session. Was the session active at the precise moment the fine was issued?

  • Zone Code: Ensure the zone code selected in the app matches the code displayed on the physical signs where you parked.

  • License Plate: Verify that the correct vehicle was selected. A single digit or letter difference can lead to a fine, as the enforcement officer’s system won’t see an active session for that specific plate.

What to do if your session was valid

If all the details above are correct and your parking session was valid, the fine was likely issued in error. In this case, you should contact the parking operator or the local municipality directly to request a withdrawal.

How to speed up the process:

To resolve the dispute quickly, make sure to provide the following documentation to the operator:

  1. A photo of the penalty notice: This contains the reference number and the officer's details.

  2. Your proof of parking: You can download a digital receipt directly from the EasyPark app or through our website.

Important Note: EasyPark provides the payment platform, but we do not have the legal authority to cancel fines issued by local authorities or private operators. You must contact the entity that issued the ticket to start the formal appeal process.
