- Is there a difference between parking for work and privately?
The primary difference lies in who is charged for the session and how the expenses are documented:
Parking for Work (BUSINESS Account)
Direct Billing: All parking costs are charged directly to the business account.
No Out-of-Pocket Expenses: The employee does not need to pay personally, eliminating the need to save paper receipts or file reimbursement claims later.
Streamlined Accounting: The company receives a single, consolidated invoice for all fleet activities.
Parking Privately (PERSONAL Account)
Personal Payment: Costs are charged to your personal payment method (credit/debit card, PayPal, etc.) linked to your private profile.
Privacy: These sessions are entirely independent and are not visible to your company's account administrator.
How to select the correct account
If you have both a business and a personal profile linked to your account, you are in total control. Before starting any parking session, you must manually select the appropriate profile:
Toggle the View: On the main screen, you will see a toggle or selector to switch between PERSONAL and BUSINESS.
Verify Before Starting: Always double-check that the correct profile is highlighted before you confirm the start of your session.
Visual Indicators: The app interface will clearly show which account is active so you can park with confidence.
Pro Tip: If you accidentally start a session on the wrong profile, stop it immediately and restart it using the correct one. This ensures your company's billing and your personal bank statements stay perfectly organized.
