- I can’t start a parking session
If you’re having trouble starting your session, it’s usually due to a quick fix involving your account settings or connection. Here is what to check:
1. Update your payment method
If there is an outstanding balance on your account, the app may temporarily prevent new sessions.
The fix: Update your payment information in the app. Once a valid payment method is provided and pending charges are processed, your account will be reactivated immediately.
2. Verify your permit
If you are trying to park in a permit-only zone:
Check validity: Ensure your permit is active for that specific area.
Note: EasyPark provides the platform to manage parking, but we do not issue the permits ourselves. You may need to contact your local municipality or operator if your permit isn't showing as valid.
3. Blocked license plate
If the app tells you your license plate is "blocked," but your account is active and you have no unpaid sessions, this may be a technical sync issue.
The fix: This requires a quick manual check from our team. Please reach out to us so we can look into it for you!
4. Check your connection
You must have an active internet connection to start a session.
Refresh: Close the app entirely and reopen it.
Check updates: Ensure you are using the latest version of the app.
Signal: If your data is weak, try moving a few meters or toggling your Wi-Fi off to use mobile data instead.
