- Troubleshooting Your Account and Payments
At EasyPark, we want to keep your journey moving smoothly. If your account is inactive or a payment didn't go through, it's usually due to a quick-fix technical or administrative reason.
Why is my account inactive?
If a payment fails, your account is temporarily paused to prevent further issues. Don’t worry—we don’t charge extra fees for this. Once the outstanding balance is settled, your account will be reactivated immediately.
Common Reasons for Payment Failure
Insufficient Funds: There may not have been enough balance at the time of the transaction.
Expired Card: Your registered card may have reached its expiry date.
Bank Security: Sometimes banks block a transaction for security reasons, especially for international or digital payments.
Spending Limits: You may have reached a daily or monthly limit set by your bank.
Verification Issues: If using SEPA/iDEAL, the small verification transfer (e.g., €0.01) might not have been completed.
How to Fix It (Step-by-Step)
Update Your Details Open the EasyPark app and check your payment method. Often, simply re-entering your card details or adding a new card will trigger the system to automatically retry the payment.
Check with Your Bank If your card details are correct but the payment still fails, a quick call to your bank can clear up any security blocks or limit issues.
Settle Outstanding Invoices If you have an unpaid invoice via our partner Riverty, settling it directly with them will restore your account access.
Contact Support If you've updated your info and it's still not working, we're here to help! Reach out to our team, and we’ll get you back to parking in no time.
