Staying on top of your parking should be effortless. If you just received a notification saying Camera Parking has been disabled for your vehicle, don’t worry—it’s usually because of a shared ride!
Why did this happen?
To ensure you are never double-charged, Camera Parking can only be active in one EasyPark account at a time. If you share a car with a family member, friend, or colleague, and they enable Camera Parking for that vehicle in their app, it will automatically switch off in yours. This is our way of making sure the right person is paying for the right session.
What should you do?
If the other person is driving: No action is needed! This confirms that their app will handle the parking automatically the next time they enter a garage.
If you want the feature back: Simply go to your vehicle list in the EasyPark app and toggle Camera Parking back on.
Keep in mind: Reactivating the feature in your app will automatically disable it in the other person’s account. It’s always a good idea to have a quick chat with anyone you share a car with to decide whose account should be the "primary" for automatic parking.
Why we do this
By limiting the feature to one active user per plate, we provide a reliable and empowering experience. It prevents technical errors and ensures that your parking remains transparent and easy to manage.
