Managing Old License Plates

Managing Old License Plates

Keeping your vehicle list updated is the best way to ensure your EasyPark experience stays smooth and reliable. If you have sold a vehicle or changed your license plate, removing the old plate number from your app is a quick step that prevents accidental charges.

Why should I remove old plates?

If an old license plate remains active in your account—especially if Camera Parking is enabled—a parking session will automatically start whenever that vehicle enters a camera-equipped area.

Because the system recognizes the car, it will charge the account where the plate is registered, regardless of who is currently driving it.

Step-by-Step: How to Update Your List

To keep your account accurate and your city life easy, follow these steps:

  1. Open the EasyPark app and navigate to your vehicles.

  2. Toggle off "Camera Parking" for the old license plate.

  3. Delete the plate number from your list entirely.

Once a plate is removed, you are fully protected from any future charges related to that vehicle.

Important to Know

  • User Responsibility: It is important to manage your own vehicle list. EasyPark cannot automatically know when a car has changed owners.

  • Refund Policy: Per our Terms & Conditions, we cannot offer refunds for sessions started on vehicles no longer in your possession if the plate was still active in your app.

  • Ongoing Sessions: If you notice a session is active right now on a plate you no longer own, please contact our Customer Support team immediately for assistance.

By keeping your profile current, you help us make urban life a little bit simpler and more livable for everyone.
