At EasyPark, we want your travel experience to be as seamless as possible. When you cross borders, our app adapts to the local environment to ensure you are always following local parking regulations and standards.
Local Currency in the App
The currency displayed while you are actively parking is always the local currency of the country and zone where the vehicle is located.
For example, if your account is based in Sweden (SEK) but you are parking in Germany, the app will display prices in Euros (€). This ensures that the rates you see match the local signage and garage requirements.
Why the amount in your bank might look different
While the app shows the local price during your session, your final payment is handled according to your account's home country.
Automatic Conversion: On your final receipt and in your bank transactions, the amount will be converted into the currency of the country where your account was created.
Exchange Rates: Because of this conversion, the final amount shown in your online banking may differ slightly from the number you saw in the app's parking summary due to current exchange rates.
How your "Home Country" is determined
Your account’s default currency and home country are determined by the phone number used when you first created your account.
Need to change your home country? If you have moved permanently and wish to change your billing currency, you will need to delete your current account and create a new one using a local phone number for that specific country.
Pro Tip for Travelers
Check your History tab after your trip. We provide a detailed digital receipt for every session, making it easy to track your spending regardless of which borders you’ve crossed.
