Traveling Abroad with EasyPark: A Step-by-Step Guide

Whether you’re heading for a weekend in Paris or a road trip through Italy, EasyPark is right there with you. You can use your same account and phone number in over 20 European countries and more than 3,700 cities.

Here is how to make your international parking simple, reliable, and stress-free.

Step 1: Arrive and Open the App

When you reach your destination, simply open the EasyPark app.

  • Automatic Detection: If you have GPS enabled, the app will automatically suggest the parking zone you’re in.

  • Look for the Flag: To give you peace of mind, international zones are marked with a country flag icon. This confirms you’re using the correct local system.

Step 2: Check Local Rules (The "Time Wheel" Rule)

Parking rules change when you cross borders. The biggest difference you'll notice:

  • Mandatory End Time: In many countries (like Germany or Spain), you must select an end time using the time wheel before you can start.

  • Flexibility stays: Even if you set an end time, you can still stop early manually. You only ever pay for the actual time you park!

Step 3: Verify the Zone & Signage

Local street signs are the ultimate authority.

  • Compare Codes: Ensure the zone code shown in the app matches the physical signs on the street.

  • Language & Signs: Signs might be in a different language, but symbols for "Permit Only" or "No Parking" are usually universal. Always double-check before you walk away.

Step 4: Confirm Your License Plate

If you’re using a rental car, don’t forget to add the new license plate to your app!

  • Go to Vehicles in the menu and add the rental plate.

  • Make sure the correct vehicle is selected before you swipe to pay.
