How much does it cost to charge with EasyPark?

The cost of charging your electric vehicle through EasyPark consists of two main parts: the Charging Fee and the EasyPark Service Fee.

1. Charging Fee

This fee is determined by the Charging Point Operator (CPO), such as a municipality, a private company, or a charging network. The price can vary based on location and may include:

  • Price per kWh: Based on the actual electricity consumed.

  • Price per minute or per session: Based on the duration or use of the charger.

  • A combination of both.

You can always see the exact charging rate in the EasyPark app before you start your session. EasyPark does not set or influence these prices.

2. EasyPark Service Fees

A service fee is charged for using the app and its features. The amount depends on your specific Pricing Plan:

  • EasyPark Small (Pay-per-use):

    • In Sweden, the standard service fee is 15% of the charging cost, with a minimum fee of 4.95 SEK per session.

  • EasyPark Go (Subscription):

    • For a fixed monthly fee (currently 49 SEK/month in Sweden), the service fee is waived for an unlimited number of charging and parking sessions.

Note: If you use a physical charging card or a different provider, different rates and terms may apply, and those sessions will not appear in the EasyPark app.

Parking Fees are separate

The cost of charging is separate from any potential parking fees.

  • If the charging station is located in a paid parking zone, you must start a separate parking session in the app.

  • Look for zones labeled "Charging + Parking" in the app if the operator has bundled them into a single price. Otherwise, you will be billed separately for both services.

Where can I see my costs?

Once your session is complete, you can find a detailed breakdown of the electricity consumed, the charging rate, and the service fee in:

  • The EasyPark app under your transaction history.

  • Your monthly invoice or digital receipt.
