What to Do If the Charging Station Light is Yellow or Red

We want to get you back on the road as quickly as possible. If the light on the charging station isn't green, here is how to handle it confidently and effectively.

Understanding the Status Lights

A yellow or red light usually means the station is currently unavailable or experiencing a technical hiccup.

  • Yellow Light: Often indicates the station is initializing, communicating with the car, or is temporarily "busy."

  • Red Light: Usually signifies that the station is out of order or has encountered an error.

Your Action Plan

If you encounter these colors, follow these simple steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Check for an Error Code Look at the station's display screen (if it has one). It may provide a specific reason for the light.

  2. Contact the Operator Directly Because EasyPark connects you to many different providers, the technical maintenance of the physical hardware is handled by the Charging Operator.

  3. Find the Support Number You can find the operator's contact details:

    • On a sticker or sign located directly on the charging pole.

    • On the instruction board at the parking spot.

  4. Try a Different Station If there are other available chargers nearby, we recommend moving your vehicle and starting a new session in the app to ensure you get the charge you need.
