- How to Pay for Parking and Charging
Navigating parking and charging should be the easiest part of your journey. To help us make cities more livable and your drive more seamless, here is a simple guide on how payments work in the EasyPark app.
Step-by-Step Payment Guide
Depending on where you are, your session will work in one of two ways. Always check the zone name in your app to be sure.
Check for "Charging + Parking" Zones
If the zone name says "Charging + Parking," you’re all set with one tap.
The Deal: You pay one combined fee for both services in a single transaction.
Handle Separate Sessions
If the zone doesn't mention both, they are handled separately.
The Action: First, start your parking session for the specific area. Then, select the charging icon on the map to start your power-up.
The Deal: You will see two separate charges—one for the spot and one for the energy.
Parking in Camera-Controlled (ANPR) Areas
In areas with "Automatic Number Plate Recognition," the cameras see you arrive, but you still need to start the session.
The Action: Open the app and start your parking immediately (or use the on-site machine). Once that's active, start your charging session.
The Risk: If the parking session isn't started in the app, the operator may send a separate invoice later.
Question
Answer
Is the parking fee included in the charging price?
Sometimes! If the zone name includes "Charging + Parking," it is included. Otherwise, they are charged separately.
Do I pay for both in the same transaction?
Only in combined zones. In most other locations, you will start and pay for parking and charging as two distinct actions.
