Imagine driving into a parking garage and having the gate open automatically, with your session starting and ending without you ever touching your phone. That’s the magic of Camera Parking (also known as Automatic Number Plate Recognition).

By using smart camera technology to recognize your license plate, we’re making cities more livable by removing the stress of parking meters and paper tickets.

How to Enable or Disable Camera Parking

You have full control over this feature directly in the EasyPark app. Here is how to manage it:

To Enable:

  1. Open the EasyPark app.

  2. Tap the Menu (three lines in the top corner).

  3. Select "Camera Parking" or go to "Vehicles".

  4. Toggle the switch to E****nable for Camera Parking for your desired license plate.

  5. Note: Please allow up to 15 minutes for the activation to sync with our systems before entering a garage.

To Disable:

  1. Go to the "Vehicles" section in your app menu.

  2. Select the specific vehicle.

  3. Toggle the "Camera Parking" switch to Disable for Camera Parking.

How It Works

  • Arrival: As you drive in, a camera scans your plate and instantly starts a session in your EasyPark account.

  • During Your Stay: You don't need to do a thing. Your session runs securely while you go about your day.

  • Departure: When you drive out, the exit camera scans your plate again, automatically stops the session, and calculates the cost.

  • Check Availability: Not all garages have camera technology yet. Look for the "Camera" icon on the map in your EasyPark app to confirm.

  • Stay Updated: Double-check that your plate number is entered correctly in the app to avoid any hiccups.
