Starting May 1, 2025, EasyPark’s pricing structure in the Netherlands will change. This update is part of our broader strategy to harmonize our services across Europe and provide users with a consistent experience in every country where we operate.
What’s changing?
For users with EasyPark Small (pay-per-use), the fixed service fee of €0.39 per parking session will be replaced by a variable fee of 15% of the parking cost. This fee is subject to the following limits:
Minimum fee: €0.19 per parking session
Maximum fee per hour: €0.70
Session cap: €7,00 per transaction
For longer parking sessions, the service fee will never exceed €7,00 – regardless of how long you park. In many cases – especially short-term parking – you’ll actually pay less than before!
You can find example scenarios of how this works in practice on our price change information page.
For users with EasyPark Go (subscription of €4.99 per month), nothing will change.
Why are we making this change?
This update enables:
More transparent pricing
Fairer cost distribution between short and long parking sessions
Harmonization with our pricing model in other European countries
With EasyPark, you’ll continue to benefit from features like:
Start and stop parking sessions via the app
A clear overview of your parking history and costs
Parking in over 20 European countries
Who does this apply to?
This change applies to customers in the Netherlands using EasyPark Small (without a subscription). If you park abroad, the new pricing model will also apply. Users of EasyPark Go (€4.99/month subscription) are not affected by this change.
How do I know which pricing plan I have?
You can view or change your current plan in the EasyPark app under ‘Pricing Plan’.
How do I change or cancel my subscription?
Follow the steps in the app or check these articles for guidance:
How do I change my subscription?
Will parking become more expensive?
That depends on how often and how long you park. For shorter parking sessions, you’ll often pay less than before! For longer sessions, costs are capped.
