Why was my parking session automatically stopped?

In some cases, your parking session may be automatically stopped by the EasyPark system. This can happen for two reasons:

1. You set an end time yourself
You may have (knowingly or unknowingly) set an end time when you started your parking session. In that case, the session will automatically stop at the selected time.

2. Maximum parking time reached
If you've reached the maximum allowed parking duration for a specific zone, the session will be ended automatically. These limits are set by the municipality or parking operator and may vary by location.

For example: In many zones, you're allowed to park until the end of the following day. However, in some zones, there may be a stricter time limit—such as only 1 or 2 hours. Once the maximum time is reached, the session stops automatically.

How can I check the maximum parking duration?

  • Look at street signs or the parking meter – These usually display the maximum parking duration allowed.

  • Check the EasyPark app – The zone information in the app shows the local parking rules and any time limits.

Please note: EasyPark does not set these limits ourselves. We follow the official rules set by the municipality or parking operator.

Helpful tips:

Set reminders
You can enable free push notifications in the app to receive alerts before your session is about to end.

Always stay informed
You’ll get a notification in the app as soon as your session ends automatically, so you always know when your parking has stopped.
