It may happen that you're unable to start a parking session using the app. Below you'll find the most common reasons and what you can do and try to fix the issue yourself.
1. Check your payment method
In many cases, the issue is related to a payment method that is no longer valid.
✔ Is your payment method still valid? Check if your payment card or bank account has expired.
✔ Do you have unpaid invoices? If there’s an outstanding balance, you may be temporarily blocked from starting a parking session.
✔ Try adding a new payment method. This may trigger a payment to settle any unpaid invoices automatically.
Tip: You can update your payment details in the app via Account > Payment
2. Is your vehicle blocked?
Sometimes a license plate may be blocked in the system, especially if there was a previous unpaid parking session with that vehicle.
✔ This is more common with leased vehicles, rental cars, or recently purchased cars.
✔ The block is not necessarily tied to your account, but to the license plate itself.
Note: In this case, only our customer service team can assist you further.
3. Try a technical solution
It might be a temporary issue with your phone or the app. Try the steps below:
Force close and reopen the EasyPark app
Restart your phone
Make sure you have a stable internet connection
Uninstall and reinstall the app from the App Store or Google Play
Check for any updates to your phone’s operating system
4. Using a business account?
Business accounts may have restrictions based on:
Which license plates are allowed
What times parking is permitted
Which zones can be used
If you think this applies to you, contact the admin user of the account.
5. Still not working?
Wait a few minutes and try again, it might be a temporary glitch. Still not working? Make sure you’ve followed all the steps above.
Reminder: To start a parking session, your account must be active, have a valid payment method, and no outstanding invoices.
