I received a parking fine, what now?

Receiving a parking fine is frustrating. We want to help you understand why the fine was issued and what steps you can take.

Check why the fine was issued

Before taking further action, check the possible reasons for the fine:

  • Did you violate local parking rules or restrictions?

  • Did you enter the correct zone number for the location?

  • Was the parking session started with the correct license plate?

  • Was there an active parking session at the time the fine was issued?

You can check the EasyPark app to see if your parking session was correctly registered and which license plate was used.

How can I dispute the fine?

If you believe the fine was issued incorrectly, you can file a dispute. This must be done directly with the authority that issued the fine. The contact details and instructions for disputing the fine are usually found on the ticket itself.

Important:

  • EasyPark does not issue parking fines.

  • EasyPark cannot dispute a fine on your behalf. You must contact the issuing authority yourself.

  • EasyPark has no influence over the decision of the parking authority or municipality. Only the organization that issued the fine can review and possibly withdraw it.
