- The barrier won’t open, what now?
Standard parking garages
If the barrier does not open when entering or exiting, this may be due to the following reasons:
License plate recognition is not enabled for your vehicle.
Your license plate is not correctly registered in the EasyPark app.
The parking garage does not support license plate recognition (via EasyPark).
What can you do?
Check if license plate recognition is enabled for your vehicle. You can do this in the EasyPark app via the menu > 'Camera Parking'.
Everything set up correctly, but the barrier still won’t open? Request assistance from the garage operator via the intercom at the barrier.
Note: If the garage operator manually opens the barrier, your parking session will remain active. In this case, always contact us so we can correctly end your parking session.
ParkBee locations
At ParkBee locations, the barrier operates through the EasyPark app.
How to open the barrier:
Make sure you are in front of the barrier and open the EasyPark app.
Select the correct zone and tap 'Start parking session'.
Press 'Open barrier', and the barrier will lift.
Barrier not opening? Call our customer service or ParkBee, and the barrier can be opened remotely.
