PARK NOW is becoming EasyPark - FAQ

What is happening?

PARK NOW has become part of the EasyPark family. With our combined technologies, we will now provide a larger coverage and additional parking services in the EasyPark app. The core app functionality will remain the same.


I don’t recognize EasyPark, please tell me about it.

EasyPark is a leading Mobile Parking solution, that simplifies parking and charging of electric cars (through an App) - in over 25 countries and 3.200 cities worldwide. EasyPark is used by millions of drivers all over the world.


What are the benefits of this transfer for me as a customer?

By moving to EasyPark, you will be able to use one app in 20 countries around Europe and park in both PARK NOW and EasyPark areas using the same application.

Please note that Park Now will stop the service soon.


What will change for me when I move from PARK NOW to EasyPark?

You will be able to use one app in over 20 countries in around Europe. Another thing that will change is that you will need to put an approximate end time on all your parkings. The reason for this is because we want to ensure that you only pay for the time you are actually parking. Of course there will be reminders available that will help you keep track of ongoing parkings. You will of course also be able to prolong the parking, or stop it, before your initial end time if needed.


Do I need to create a new account?

You do not need to create a new account. When it's time for you to move over to EasyPark, you will get all the information you need directly in the PARK NOW app. It will only take a few minutes to do the move.

If you have PayPal as a method of payment, you will need to accept a billing agreement from EasyPark to be able to continue using PayPal as a Method of Payment.


Will I pay the same price I was paying?

Yes. Prices will stay the same when you move your account over to EasyPark.


Will I be able to access my history from my PARK NOW account?

You will still be able to access the PARK NOW app and see all your history there. We will not move any information about your previous parkings over to the EasyPark app.


Which area code should I use going forward?

In the majority of cities and areas, you will be able to use the same area code as you used to do with the PARK NOW app. To be sure this applies to your specific area, please check what the app says about the area code where you are parking before starting your parking session.


Will I be able to park in all the cities where I used to park?

Our intention is that you should be able to continue using the EasyPark in all cities where you have been using PARK NOW before. If there would be any exceptions for this, you will be informed about this.


When will the PARK NOW app stop working?

This will happen at different times for different customers. You will get information when the PARK NOW app will stop working specifically for you. You can move your account when the possibility shows in your Park NOW app and at any time up until the PARK NOW service closes.


How can I order an EasyPark sticker ?

If you still own stickers from PARK NOW you can still continue using these of course.

A sustainable business operation is a key priority for us at EasyPark. Hence, we do not send out stickers to customers. However, we realize that some cities are still requiring this. The easiest way to comply with this requirement is for you to write a hand-written note saying ”EasyPark” and put it clearly visible on your windshield. Then the attendant will know that you are using EasyPark to pay for your parking.


Can I still use my Garage Access Card?

Yes. Your card will continue to work when you transfer your account to EasyPark.
Garage coverage will change slightly.

We recommend enabling Automatic CameraPark in your EasyPark app for an enhanced garage parking experience and automatic access where the card is not active.

When can I transfer to EasyPark?

When it's time for you to move over to EasyPark, you will get information directly in the PARK NOW app and via Email. It will only take a few minutes to do the move.


Can I still make use of the fuel card?

Yes, your existing card will continue to work until further notice. If and when this will change, you will get information about this.


I don't have a PayPal account or credit card. Will EasyPark offer more payment methods in the future?

As an alternative we do offer payment by giropay and direct debit (SEPA). We are always evaluating ways to improve our service and provide our customers with the best possible experience. This means that we might add new methods of payment in the future.


Why do you send me this information? I've opted out for marketing send-outs.

We are committed to honor the agreement we have with you and give you the best possible experience of our service. To be able to do this, we believe we need to keep you informed about future changes that will affect your experience with our service.


Will the PARK NOW app still work? Do users need to replace it with the EasyPark one?

The PARK NOW app will work until you as a user have transferred your account to the EasyPark app. Then you will no longer be able to start parkings in the PARK NOW app. However, you will still be able to access your parking history. Eventually, the PARK NOW app will be discontinued. When this is happening will of course be communicated through in-app messages, email and in some cases also SMS.


How are you communicating on this topic to your users?

We are doing substantial communication efforts through in-app messages, emails and sms:s to ensure that our users are informed about this change.


What will happen to my PARK NOW prepaid credit?

Your current PARK NOW credits will be transferred in full to EasyPark as parking credit, and you will be able to make use of it in EasyPark when you choose to complete the transfer. You will see your available credit on the welcome screens in the EasyPark app.

We recommend that you enter a new method of payment in the EasyPark app to ensure a continuous service once your parking credit has been used.


Why has my billing cycle changed?

EasyPark does not currently offer monthly charge to our private consumer base. This is currently a business only option.
