Parking started on a car you no longer own?

Did a parking session start on a vehicle you no longer own or dispose of? This can happen if you previously registered the vehicle in your EasyPark app and enabled camera parking.

Why It Happens

If the new driver enters a camera parking area, the system may start a session automatically in your app if you still have camera parking enabled on your account. Camera parking is an automatic process and does not depend on the driver of the vehicle.

If you see an active camera parking session for a vehicle you've sold, returned (in the case of a rental), or no longer use, it means that camera parking was still active for that vehicle in your app.

What Should You Do?

To avoid future occurrences, please disable camera parking for any vehicles you no longer own directly within the EasyPark app. Kindly remember that EasyPark will not override these settings for you, as users are responsible for managing their vehicle list and associated functionalities.

Parking refund request for a parking on a former vehicle

As per our terms and conditions, refunds are not provided for finalized and charged parking sessions if the parking was initiated on a vehicle no longer owned by the user. It is the user's responsibility to manage the vehicles listed in their app and to disable camera parking when necessary.
