Have an ongoing camera parking?

Sometimes, ending your parking session at a camerapark facility might not go as smoothly as planned. This usually happens if the camera doesn't clearly recognize your license plate when you leave. But don't worry, here's how you can minimize these issues, and what to do if an error occurs.

Simple Steps to ensure that the parking session is registered correctly

To make sure your parking session ends correctly every time, just follow these easy tips:

  • Keep Your License Plates Clean: Always ensure your car's license plates are clearly visible and free from dirt, snow, or any obstructions. A clean plate helps the camera do its job!

  • Drive Slowly: When exiting the parking facility, maintain a safe distance from other cars and drive at a slow, steady pace. This gives the camera the best chance to read your plate accurately.

  • Turn On App Notifications: Enable notifications in your EasyPark app. This way, you'll receive alerts when your parking starts and stops, giving you better control and awareness of your sessions.

What Happens if Your Parking Session Doesn't End?

If you find that your parking session hasn't ended automatically, don't panic! Here's what you can do:

First, check your EasyPark app to see if you can manually stop the active parking session. Here's how to stop the camera parking session in the app:

  1. Open the app and tap the active parking session at the top.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen.

  3. Tap "Parking didn’t stop".

  4. Select the correct exit date and time for your departure.

  5. Tap "Confirm".

If you are unable to stop the parking in the app yourself, or if you are unsure whether you have been charged, you can contact our chatbot to register your request to stop the parking. Our customer service team will then stop the parking when they are back at work.
