- automatic camera parking
- Parking started on a sold or rental car
Did a parking session start on a vehicle you no longer own or dispose of?
This can happen if you previously registered the vehicle in your EasyPark app and enabled camera parking.
Why It Happens
If a new driver enters a camera parking area, the system may start a session automatically in your app if you still have camera parking enabled on your account. Camera parking is an automatic process and does not depend on the driver of the vehicle.
If you see an active camera parking session for a vehicle you've sold, returned (in the case of a rental), or no longer use, it means that camera parking was still active for that vehicle in your app.
What Should You Do?
To prevent this in the future, please deactivate the camera parking for any vehicle you no longer use within the EasyPark app. Please note that EasyPark cannot change these settings on your behalf, as managing your vehicle list and related features is the responsibility of the user.
Is the parking session ongoing or have you been charged?
Ongoing Parking Session: If you see an active parking session for a vehicle you no longer dispose of, our customer care team are here to help.
Already Charged: If you've already been charged for parking on a vehicle you no longer own, we recommend resolving the payment directly with the current user or owner of the vehicle.
