Express Pay – How it Works
Express Pay is a feature available at select parking facilities. Cameras at the entry and exit automatically recognize your license plate, and payment is processed through the payment method linked to your EasyPark account.
Important: Check Your App
Some Express Pay locations require you to manually confirm the start of your session. Always open the EasyPark app upon arrival to check whether manual activation is required and to ensure the session is correctly registered.
How it Works
Entering: The camera captures your plate. Depending on the location, the session starts automatically or requires a manual tap in the app.
Leaving: When you exit, the camera reads your license plate again, and the parking session ends automatically in the app.
Payment: The app will display whether the parking was free or if a fee applies. Any charges are billed to your selected payment method.
Managing Your Settings
How to check if Express Pay is active: If you want your sessions to start automatically, open the EasyPark app and go to Express Pay or Vehicles in the menu. There, you can see your registered license plates and verify if the Express Pay feature is toggled ON.
Loaning your car to another person: If you lend your car to someone else and want to prevent automatic charges to your account:
Disable the Express Pay feature in your app for that vehicle.
The person borrowing the car can then add the license plate to their own EasyPark account and enable the feature for their session.
Key Reminders for Express Pay
Activation Lead Time: You must activate the Express Pay feature in the app at least 15 minutes before entering the facility.
Not Universal: Not all parking locations support Express Pay.
Stay Informed: Keep your phone with you to verify if manual activation is required. If the app does not allow you to start a session, you may need to pay the operator directly on-site or via their website.
Verification: Even in "automatic" areas, always confirm the session has started in your app to avoid potential fines or exit issues.
Note: Some express pay areas require a manual start to be registered in your EasyPark App. Please check the app status immediately after parking.
