Express Pay processed with an old license plate

Managing Old License Plates

Keeping your vehicle list updated is the best way to ensure your EasyPark experience stays smooth and reliable. If you have sold a vehicle or changed your license plate, removing the old number from your app is a crucial step to prevent accidental charges.

Why should I remove old plates?

If an old license plate remains active in your account—especially if Express Pay is enabled—a parking session will automatically start whenever that vehicle enters a camera-equipped garage or lot.

Because the system recognizes the vehicle's plate, it will bill the account where the plate is currently registered, regardless of who is driving.

Step-by-Step: How to Update Your List

To keep your account accurate and your city life simple, follow these steps:

  1. Open the EasyPark app and navigate to the Vehicles section.

  2. Toggle off "Camera Parking" for the old license plate first.

  3. Delete the plate number from your list entirely.

Success! Once a plate is removed, you are fully protected from any future charges related to that vehicle.
