EasyPark Business offers three types of SMS reminders to help manage parking sessions:
Parking about to end – Sent before the session ends (e.g., 15 minutes prior).
Parking ended – Notifies you once a session ends.
Active parking session – Sent periodically (e.g., every 30 minutes) to remind you of ongoing parking.
These SMS reminders incur a cost. To help manage usage and expenses, admins have full control over these settings in the Self-Service Portal.
How to manage SMS reminders:
Log in to your business account at the Self-Service Portal.
Navigate to the “Notifications” tab on the right-hand menu.
Choose to manage either default settings for a payment group or personal settings for individual users.
1. Setting defaults for a payment group (Defaults tab):
Select a payment group from the dropdown.
Toggle SMS reminder types on/off and set the desired time intervals.
Click “Reset all users to defaults” to apply these settings to all users in the group.
Any new users added to the group will automatically inherit these default settings.
Repeat the above steps for each payment group as needed.
2. Setting personal preferences (Users tab):
Select an individual user from the dropdown.
Customize their SMS reminders and intervals.
Changes are applied immediately and only affect that specific user.
Note: Resetting the group to defaults later will override these personal settings.
Controlling user permissions:
Admins can restrict users from changing SMS settings in the app:
Select the payment group.
Click “Permissions” in the top right corner.
Check or uncheck the box to allow or restrict user control over SMS settings.
Click “Save” to apply changes.
If permissions are disabled, users will see an error message in the app if they try to change SMS settings.
