When EasyPark and the Parking Operator are jointly responsible for the data processing

Introduction
In addition to the EasyPark Privacy Policy and, in particular, the processing of personal data described under “Enforcement control and verification of parking”, this section acts as further information on the joint controllership with relevant parking operators. In the following, please find information on such joint controllership with the relevant parking operator, which is labelled below with its home city name. The joint controllers have agreed with EasyPark as regards the allocation of responsibilities pursuant to the GDPR.
Please note that EasyPark is solely responsible for the processing of personal data in the context of the provision of Services, whereas each parking operator is solely responsible for the processing of personal data in the context of, among other things, any consequences of parking violations.
What did the joint controllers agree upon?
EasyPark and each separate parking operator listed below act as joint controllers for the processing of personal data that occurs in connection with enforcement control and verification of parking transactions of EasyPark customers who have carried out a parking transaction via EasyPark in a parking facility operated by the respective parking operator.
According to the agreements between EasyPark and each parking operator, EasyPark is the primary responsible party for the information obligation towards data subjects, which is carried out in this section and the EasyPark Privacy Policy.
