- Is the charging cable stuck?
Is the charging cable physically stuck in the car?
Try these steps:
First: Lock the car, then unlock the car. Then try to release the charging cable.
Does the car have a release button on the charging socket? Push the button.
Does the car have a release/unlock button in the car? Push the button.
Does the car have a release button on the car's app? Push the button
Does the car have a release button on the screen? You will usually find it under a menu for charging. Push the button.
Start the car and stop it again.
Many cars have an emergency strap on the back of the lid, preferably behind a cover under the bonnet or tailgate. Feel free to check the instruction manual. Pull this and it will disconnect.
Use the emergency stop at the charging station. Disable it when you're done.
If issue persists then the customer must call CPO (ticket not needed)
Still No Luck?
If you've tried all these steps and that charger is still stuck, it means there might be an issue with the charging station itself. In this case, you'll need to call the Charge Point Operator.
