- I received a Forfait Post-Parking (FPS), how can I contest it?
Reminder: EasyPark does not manage sworn officers or parking meters. Therefore, we are not responsible for the issuance of FPS fines.
I recommend comparing the following information between your EasyPark parking receipt (which you can download by logging into your Client Area on the EasyPark website https://www.easypark.com/fr-fr) and the details on your FPS:
License Plate: Ensure the license plate on the FPS matches the one on your EasyPark receipt.
Date and Time of Parking: Verify that the date and time on the FPS match those on the EasyPark receipt.
Parking Location: Confirm that the parking location on the FPS matches the one on the EasyPark receipt.
If all of this information matches, I suggest contesting the fine by sending your EasyPark parking receipt to the service mentioned on your FPS.
How to contest the FPS:
To contest the FPS, the user must submit a Recours Administratif Préalable Obligatoire (RAPO) within one month of the FPS issuance to the authority that issued the payment notice. The name and contact details of the competent authority, as well as the appeal process, are specified on the FPS payment notice.
The RAPO must be sent:
By registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, or
Electronically, if the competent authority allows it.
The RAPO must include:
A copy of the contested payment notice
A copy of the vehicle’s registration certificate
A statement of the facts and supporting evidence for your appeal (for example, the payment receipt found in "My Account").
After the appeal:
If the appeal is accepted, a corrected payment notice will be sent to the user.
If the appeal is rejected, the user can contact the Commission for the Dispute of Paid Parking (CCSP).
You can also reach out to the service provider mentioned or your local town hall for more information.
