- How is Parking Started and Ended?
On selected parking lots and garages equipped with a camera system, parking can be fully automated. Upon entry, the camera scans your vehicle’s license plate and starts the parking session. Upon exit, the parking session automatically ends, and the barrier opens.
If you have activated the automatic parking with a camera feature in the EasyPark app, the parking facility will recognize you as an EasyPark customer, and the system will automatically register your parking session.
How Does Payment Work?
Payment is processed automatically through your EasyPark account.
The price is determined by the parking operator’s valid pricing.
The system charges the exact amount based on the actual time spent in the parking area.
A payment confirmation and parking details can always be found in your Parking History in the app.
For more information, visit the How It Works page.
Why Does My Old Car Still Start a Parking Session?
If automatic parking was started under your account without you manually activating it, it may be because the vehicle was previously added to your account and configured for automatic parking with a camera.
How to Prevent This?
Check the list of vehicles in your account.
Remove any old vehicles that you no longer use.
Proper account management ensures that automatic parking always works as expected.
