How it works

In some parking facilities, cameras are installed at the entrance and exit. These cameras are equipped with advanced technology that automatically recognizes the license plate of the vehicle. When you activate camera parking in the Easypark app, you allow the parking to start and stop automatically as you drive in and out of the parking facility.

Camera parking must be activated on the vehicle at least 15 minutes before entering an area with plate recognition if you want the parking to be registered in the app. You can activate camera recognition by clicking on the Menu in the top right/left corner - "Camera Parking" - "Start Activation" - Activate on the correct vehicle.

In some areas with camera parking, you may need to manually start the parking in the app. It's important to read the signage in the area and verify in the app whether parking started automatically or requires manual initiation. Note: All Autopay areas require manual start in the Easypark app.

Camera recognition is an automated process that considers which app function is activated, not who is driving the car. This means that you must manage this function in the app yourself to ensure that parking starts in the correct app. Remember to deactivate camera recognition for vehicles you no longer own to avoid being incorrectly charged for parking you did not initiate.

If you have been in a camera area and the parking has not been registered in the app, it's likely that the outstanding amount is with the operator. Contact the operator or check their website to see if you have an outstanding amount. You will have the opportunity to pay within 48-72 hours on the operator's website or receive an invoice.
