What should I do if I get a fine?

We understand that finding a fine on your windshield is frustrating, especially when you’ve used the app. To resolve this as quickly as possible and get you back to enjoying a more livable city, follow these simple steps to see if you have a case for a dispute.

Step 1: The Fact Check

Before taking action, compare the details on the physical fine with the records in your EasyPark app. Check the following:

  • License Plate: Does the plate on the ticket match the one you selected in the app?

  • Area Code: Does the zone number on the street sign match the one used in your session?

  • Time & Date: Was your parking session active at the exact moment the fine was issued?

Step 2: Lodge a Dispute

If all the details in your app are correct and your session was active, you likely have a valid parking and should dispute the fine.

Important: You must contact the parking operator directly to do this. EasyPark does not issue fines and, therefore, cannot cancel them. You will find the contact details and instructions for the dispute on the fine itself.

Step 3: Provide Proof

To make your case stronger, attach a copy of your parking receipt to your dispute.

  • Where to find it: Go to the 'History' tab in your app, select the specific session, and tap to send the receipt to your email. This serves as official proof of payment for the operator.
