Why is there a different currency shown?

At EasyPark, we want your parking experience to be as transparent as possible, no matter where your travels take you. To ensure you always know exactly what the local rates are, the app adapts to the world around you. By providing clear, local information, we help you navigate new places with confidence—contributing to our goal of making cities more livable and accessible for everyone.

Local Rates, Local Currency

When you cross a border, you’ll notice the currency in the app changes automatically.

  • On the Parking Screen: The price you see while spinning the wheel is displayed in the local currency of the country where you are currently parked. This matches the rates set by the local authorities or parking operators.

  • On Your Receipts: For your records and expense reporting, your receipts will also reflect the currency used at the time of the session.

Good to know

While the app displays the local currency (like Euros or SEK) to match the street signs, your bank or credit card provider will handle the conversion to your home currency (CHF) on your statement.
