Why isn't the charging price displayed in the app?

You might notice that the exact price isn't always visible while you are charging. There are a few reasons for this:

1. Dynamic Pricing: In many cities, energy prices are set by the Charging Point Operator (CPO), not EasyPark. These rates can change based on the time of day or the speed of the charger.

2. kWh-Based Billing: Since the final cost depends on exactly how much energy your car draws (kWh), we can only calculate the final total once the session ends and the station reports the data back to us.

3. Local Regulations: Some markets have specific rules regarding how energy prices are displayed during a live transaction.

Pro Tip for Smart Charging

Before you plug in, tap on the charging station icon in the EasyPark app. We always show the price per kWh or price per minute for that specific station so you can estimate your costs before you start.
