SMS and Push Notification Settings in the EasyPark App
The EasyPark app allows you to set up SMS and push notifications for better control over your parking. You can choose the type of notifications that best suit your needs and customize their settings accordingly.
Available Notification Types
1. Push Notifications (free of charge)
Instant alerts directly in the EasyPark app.
Fast and without additional costs.
Can be enabled or disabled in the app settings.
2. SMS Notifications (may be subject to charges depending on your subscription)
An alternative to push notifications for users who prefer not to receive app alerts.
SMS messages can be set up for various parking-related situations.
Notification Options
1. Reminder Before Parking Ends
Option to set a time interval to receive a reminder before parking ends.
Android: notifications can be set 5 to 60 minutes before the end of parking.
iOS: notifications can be set 5 to 30 minutes before the end of parking.
2. Parking Completion Notification
Automatic confirmation when parking ends, including transaction details.
Can be enabled as a push notification or SMS message.
3. Ongoing Parking Updates
Allows regular SMS updates about active parking sessions.
The notification interval can be customized as needed.
4. Parking Receipt via Email
Automatically deliver a PDF receipt for parking to your email.
By default, receipts are available in the Parking History section of the app.
Includes all parking transactions from the day, sent the next day.
How to Set Up Notifications
Open the EasyPark app.
Go to Settings > Notifications.
Select the preferred notification type (push or SMS).
Set the time interval and preferred alerts.
Save the changes.
Important Information
All notifications are disabled by default.
SMS notifications may incur charges depending on your subscription.
Push notifications are free and provide instant parking updates.
If you prefer not to receive push notifications, you can enable SMS confirmations instead.
