Why can't I start parking in my current area code?
If you're having trouble starting a parking session, it could be due to issues related to the area code or app functionality. Here’s how you can troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Step 1: Try another area code
Solution: Try starting a parking session in a different area code to see if the issue persists.
Tip: If you experience the same issue, proceed with the following troubleshooting steps.
Step 2: Use the EasyPark test area code
Solution: You can always use area code 9999, which is EasyPark's designated test area code. It doesn’t have any associated charges and can help you determine if the issue is with your specific location.
Step 3: Cancel your session within 3 minutes
Solution: If you accidentally start a parking session in the wrong area code or have other issues, you can cancel the parking within the first 3 minutes at no cost.
Step 4: Update or reinstall the app
Solution: Sometimes app issues can be resolved by either:
Reinstalling the app: Delete the app and reinstall it from your app store.
Updating the app: Ensure your app is up-to-date with the latest version. You can check for updates in your app store.
Updating your device's operating system: Make sure your device's OS is also up to date to avoid compatibility issues.
Step 5: Wait and try again later
