- Got a SMS/email about updating your payment details?
Why Did You Receive This Message?
If a payment for a parking session couldn't be processed, we send an SMS or email to let you know. Because we want to empower you to handle your data safely, we will only ever ask you to open the official EasyPark app to update your details.
Common reasons a payment might fail:
Card Limits: Your bank card might be blocked or have reached a daily spending limit.
Insufficient Funds: There wasn't quite enough in the account at the time of the charge.
Expired Card: Your card may have reached its expiry date or isn't enabled for online "e-commerce" payments.
Timing: Parking payments are often processed 1–5 days after your session ends, so you might see a notification a few days after you've parked.
What You Should Do
Open the EasyPark App: This is the most secure way to manage your info.
Update Payment Method: Go to your settings to enter a new card or re-enter your current one (after checking with your bank).
Complete the Payment: Once updated, the system will automatically attempt to settle any outstanding balance.
Stay Safe: Is the Message Suspicious?
Your security is our priority. To protect yourself from scams, please remember:
No Direct Links: EasyPark never sends direct links in texts or emails that ask for your credit card or payment details.
Don't Click: If you receive a message with a link requesting payment info, do not click it. It is likely a phishing attempt.
Use the App: Always go directly to your trusted EasyPark app to make any changes.
