EasyPark does not issue fines, any appeal must go through the organization that issued the ticket, but we can provide the evidence you need to support your case.
1. Check your EasyPark app
Before you do anything else, verify your parking history in the app. This is your digital proof of payment.
Active Session: Was there an active parking session running at the exact time the fine was issued?
Details Match: Did the license plate number and the area code in the app match exactly what is on the fine?
Confirmation: You can find your digital receipt by going to Menu > Activity > History.
2. Review the physical ticket
The ticket on your windscreen or in the mail contains vital information:
The Issuer: Look for the name of the municipality or the private parking company. This is the only organization that can cancel the fine.
The Reason: The ticket will state why it was issued (e.g., incorrect zone, expired time, or plate mismatch).
3. How to appeal
If you believe the fine was issued in error and you have a matching receipt in the EasyPark app, you have the right to dispute it.
Contact the Operator: Use the contact details (website, email, or address) printed on the back or bottom of the ticket.
Provide Evidence: Attach a screenshot or a PDF of your EasyPark receipt. Make sure the receipt clearly shows your license plate, the zone code, and the start/end times of your session.
Important to remember
Watch the Deadline: Most authorities in Cyprus have a specific window (often 15–30 days) for appeals. Don't wait!
Pay or Dispute? In some cases, you may be advised to pay the fine first to avoid late fees while the appeal is being processed. Check the instructions on the ticket carefully.
