EasyPark is the payment provider and the Parking Operator owns the physical parking space, the operator is the one who receives the funds from both the app and the meter. Therefore, you can contact the Parking Operator for help.
How to get help:
Identify the Operator: Look for the company name and contact details on the signs at the parking location or on the physical parking meter.
Provide Proof: To help them investigate, send them your EasyPark receipt (found in the "Activity" tab of your app) along with the receipt from the parking meter.
Be Clear: Explain that both payments cover the same license plate, location, and time period.
Important Things to Keep in Mind
Personal Error: Please be aware that because this is considered a user error, a refund is not always guaranteed. It is at the discretion of the specific parking operator.
Double-Check First: To avoid this in the future, we recommend checking your app the moment you arrive. If a session is already active (like with Camera Parking), there’s no need to visit the meter!
License Plate Accuracy: As a reminder, refunds can not be offered for sessions started with the wrong license plate, as that session is technically valid for the plate entered.
