What to do if the Gate Doesn’t Open

Since the physical gates and hardware are managed locally by the parking provider, EasyPark cannot remotely open the barriers. To get through, please follow these steps:

  1. Use the Intercom: Look for the "Help" or "Intercom" button directly on the gate terminal.

  2. Contact the Operator: If there is no intercom, look for a phone number on the signs nearby. The local operator can manually open the gate for you and check for any technical issues with the sensors.

  3. Check Your App: Quickly verify that your license plate is correctly entered and that your payment method is up to date. This ensures the system can recognize you and start a session.

Why Might This Happen?

While our technology is highly reliable, a gate might stay closed for a few simple reasons:

  • Unreadable Plates: Dirt, snow, or heavy rain can sometimes obscure the license plate from the camera.

  • Hardware Glitches: A temporary issue with the facility's gate mechanism or sensors.

  • Account Alerts: An expired credit card or an outstanding balance might prevent a new session from starting.
