- My Camera Parking Session Isn't Showing/Starting
Why Didn't It Start Automatically?
There are a few common reasons why a session might not show up in your app:
Manual Start Required: Some zones use cameras to log your entry, but still require you to manually start the session in the app to authorize payment. Always check your app as soon as you park!
Activation Delay: The "Camera Parking" feature needs to be toggled on in your settings at least 15 minutes before you enter the garage.
Unreadable License Plate: If your plate is dirty, obstructed, or damaged, the camera might not be able to "see" you.
Payment Block: If there is an outstanding balance or an expired card on your account, new automatic sessions will be paused until your payment info is updated.
Operator Systems: If you see an error like "License plate not found in the parking system," your vehicle might not be registered in that specific operator’s database yet.
What Should I Do Right Now?
Check Your History: Tap the Activity or History tab. Occasionally, a session is active but the home screen notification is just delayed.
Start Manually: If no session appears, start it yourself in the app immediately to ensure you are covered and avoid any potential fines.
How Do I Pay if EasyPark Didn't Register the Session?
Pay at the Machine: If you are still on-site, check for a physical payment terminal. You can usually enter your license plate number to pay your balance.
Operator’s Webpage: Many operators offer a "Pay Later" service on their website (often within 48 hours of your stay). Look for the operator's name on signs in the garage.
Invoice Sent Home: If no payment is made on-site or online, the parking operator will typically send an invoice to the vehicle owner's registered home address.
